Choose the work. Then the hardware.
A system.
Not a shopping list.
Suspension systems, adjustable arms, springs and damping all have a job. Start with the right category, then review how it works with the rest of your build.

Build the Jeep.
Not just the lift height.
A daily driver with a trail habit. A loaded weekend rig. A dedicated rock build. Start with what you actually want the Jeep to do—then choose the suspension architecture, joints and supporting parts to get there.
Short arm
Keep the plan focused.
Rock Krawler uses “short arm” for its TJ/LJ offerings. Explore the appropriate system when a full long-arm conversion is not part of your build plan.
- Compare
- Complete kit contents, adjustable versus fixed components, joint design and the shock package.
- Plan for
- The exact lift, tire clearance and required supporting modifications—not just the spring height.
Mid arm
A serious build starts here.
For JK, JL and JT, Rock Krawler calls this category “mid arm.” Do not treat “short arm” as a universal product name across Jeep generations.
- Compare
- Adventure, Adventure X and X-Factor options available for your platform; their arm and joint packages differ.
- Plan for
- How much adjustability you need, existing suspension changes and the complete system’s instructions.
Long arm
Commit to the next chapter.
A long-arm conversion is a geometry and mounting project, not simply a taller lift. Review the complete system before choosing separate arms or an upgrade package.
- Compare
- Arm layout, frame mounts, link arrangement and compatibility with the suspension already on the Jeep.
- Plan for
- Fabrication where specified. For example, the JL/JLU gas X-Factor X2 upgrade includes weld-on frame mounts.

The joints matter.
Arm length is one part of the decision. Learn the manufacturer’s joint design story and ask which configuration belongs in your build.

The whole setup
has to work together.
A great suspension choice is more than one box of parts. Bring us the details below and we can help narrow the catalog to a coherent build.
Your starting point
Year, TJ/LJ/JK/JKU/JL/JLU/JT, door count, engine and trim. Include the current lift, control arms, axle changes and any brackets already fitted.
Your real-world use
Daily miles, trail difficulty, desired tire size and added weight from bumpers, winch, spare and camping gear. Tell us what needs to improve.
The supporting pieces
Review shocks, bump stops, brake-line travel, driveshaft and exhaust clearance, steering, track bars, wheel clearance and alignment requirements for the specific system.
The installation path
Confirm included components, required fabrication, setup and post-install checks from the manufacturer’s instructions. A component-only listing is not a complete suspension kit.

Good questions.
Better builds.
Why are these not labeled as exact vehicle matches?
Rock Krawler’s products are in our catalog, but their vehicle-matching records are incomplete. This guide searches the brand and product descriptions, not verified fitment. Send Hurrey’s the exact vehicle and part number for review before ordering.
Does every system include shocks and all installation hardware?
No. Contents vary by part number. Some listings are component packages, shocks or springs only. Review the full included-parts list, required modifications and shock options before treating a listing as a complete lift.
Can Hurrey’s help plan and install the build?
Yes. Contact the Hamilton, New Jersey shop with your vehicle, current lift, tire size, added weight and intended use. We can review the suspension, wheel clearance and installation path together.
