Our Story — How Hurrey’s Performance Was Born

A lot of people know us. Many have used our services, visited our shop, or ordered parts and products through us. But what some may not know is where we came from—how this all began.

It all started with a car. A 1976 BMW 2002. Honestly, it may have been earlier, but that was the first time someone asked, “Where’s your shop?” I never expected that question—especially not about that car. It wasn’t packed with big-name performance parts. Most of it was cobbled together with what we could afford. But it worked. And it had character.

For years, we toyed with the idea of opening an actual performance shop. It stayed just an idea—until one night, we decided to go for it. We formed an LLC, hunted down our first location on Kuser Road, and committed. I won’t lie—I was nervous. We weren’t sitting on stacks of cash. We scraped together what we had, secured the only loan we could for a tire machine, balancer, and a single lift, and we opened our doors.

It wasn’t easy. It still isn’t. We opened right before the chaos of COVID and worked through it day by day. We've faced challenges—who hasn’t? We’ve experimented with different directions and services, but we always come back to what matters: taking care of our customers like family.

From humble beginnings in 2019 to becoming a trusted name in local automotive and performance services, it’s been one wild ride. And we’re just getting started.
